All I Want for Christmas

Last night, Noel and I went to pick out our (and my very first ever) Christmas tree. Yep, there's a Christmas tree in our living room now and boy, does it smell like Jesus.

I guess now that it's beginning to look a lot like Christmas in this joint, I should compile a wish-list of sorts. All I want for Christmas is...

Nancy Sinatra - Boots (on vinyl)

Whales of the World poster

A wireless remote for my camera. It would certainly make my shoots a lot easier!

These leggings. I need them.

Always thought these nail patches would be fun to try out... and a good incentive for growing out my nails long.

Today, it's back to Jerome's to pick out a couch. This time, I'm bringing my dad (an ex-furniture man) with me. It's going down, Jerome's.

Also, congratulations to mah man for making it into the Union Tribune. The Sunday paper is kind of a big deal! You can read the article online here. Good going Sir Churchill! I am very proud of you :)

I have had a cold the past few days, but luckily, have had a relatively swift recovery. My big graduation party is tomorrow evening. I am expected to give a speech in front of 70+ people and I'm a bit nervous. It's strange how I'm hardly nervous at all when it comes to performing but when it comes to public speaking, I get a little shaky.

I've been quite the clothes-hound lately. I guess that's what happens when you get rid of nearly half of your wardrobe and you have some spare cash in your pocket. I don't even want to know how many hours I have spent over the past few days trolling Ebay for vintage finds.

Stumbled across these beauties:

and these:

(You might be able to tell that I've had a thing for flags lately...)

Other things I've had a "thing" for:

Cookie Monster cupcakes:
Pretty pillows:
Naps:
Feather hair-clips (this particular one was made by LovMely on Etsy):
Ralph and Duchess ear cuffs:
This dream library:

Hope you all have a nice Memorial Day weekend!
